Liz Dirksen spends her days as a Digital Marketing Supervisor, but that is just her secret identity. In her spare time she moonlights as our Communications Superhero/Manager! Liz leads a creative team of graphic designers, public relations and marketing professionals, who are using their extensive expertise to help us in developing a strong and consistent brand.
Although she only joined Sustainable Waterloo Region in June 2019, she has quickly become integral to our team. Her superpowers include designing and executing large promotional campaigns with only a week’s notice and having it be seamless and professional… approaching every project and request with a contagious enthusiasm…and her ability to combine a creative eye with incredible organization skills….oh, and she is super easy to work with and kind!
